Nicolaus Bitter and Sebastian Junghans join Peakside as Principals

  • Expansion of the Frankfurt-based investment team
  • Acquisitions planned for value-add PREF IV fund as well as core and core-plus mandates

 

Zug/Frankfurt, 14. July 2022 – Peakside Capital Advisors AG ("Peakside") has added Nicolaus Bitter and Sebastian Junghans to its investment team in Frankfurt. Joining as Principals, they will both drive deal sourcing and the execution of transactions for Peakside’s value-add, core-plus and core strategies.

 

Before joining Peakside, Sebastian Junghans (37) and Nicolaus Bitter (33) were both Associate Partners at REVCAP in Frankfurt, working on transactions across Germany. Sebastian was previously employed at Tishman Speyer and UBS Real Estate and holds a Master in Real Estate from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. Nicolaus worked for Morgan Stanley Real Estate in Frankfurt and also holds a Master in Real Estate from EBS.

They will support us in the further growth and development of our deal pipeline – which currently lies in the three-digit million euro range for Peakside Real Estate Fund IV alone.”

Für PREF IV planen wir in den kommenden 18 Monaten Value-Add-Investitionen mit einem Gesamtvolumen von mehr als 1,2 Milliarden Euro in Deutschland. Dabei werden wir uns primär auf Investitionen im Logistiksektor und Repositionierungen unter ESG Gesichtspunkten und New-Work im Bürobereich konzentrieren. Aber auch Investitionen im Wohnungssegment, insbesondere Portfolios oder Plattformen passen in unser Investitionsprofil.“

 

Für PREF IV kommt das gesamte Spektrum der Assetklassen in Betracht, inklusive Portfolios und Beteiligungen im Rahmen von Joint Ventures. Die Ticketgröße liegt dabei zwischen 30 und 200 Millionen Euro. Für weitere Einzelmandate werden Core- und Core-Plus Immobilien in Deutschland gesucht.
