Office

Friedrichstraße - Frankfurt am Main 

 

In 2022 PREF IV, advised by Peakside, acquired the nine-story building on Friedrichstrasse, Frankfurt am Main. The property is located in the Westend, a mixed-use neighborhood, in close proximity to the university and the Alte Oper.

 

Value appreciation potential is to be leveraged through a "manage-to-green" approach and by bringing current rents in line with market levels and establishing a high-quality office brand tailored to the needs of the submarket.

Retail

MARO - Frankfurt am Main

 

PREF I, advised by Peakside, purchased two vacant office properties in 2013, in Frankfurt's central business and shopping district, in the immediate vicinity of the luxury shopping mile Goethestraße.

 

The buildings provided the opportunity to develop a new, high-quality office and retail complex with approximately 13,000 sqm of office and retail space.

 

Peakside leased over 80% of the newly developed property during the construction phase and successfully sold the project to an institutional fund in 2016.

 

Residential

 

The Garden Living - Berlin 

 

PREF I, advised by Peakside, acquired a vacant lot with an area of approximately 12,000 sqm in Berlin-Mitte in 2012. A new residential quarter consisting of 16 houses with approx. A total of 280 high-quality apartments and several retail spaces were built on the site.

 

A part with 120 residential units was sold as condominiums. The remaining apartments were sold to a long-term owner before construction began and rented out before handover.

industrial & LogIstics

Project One - Warsaw, Poland

 

A joint venture between Peakside and Partners Group, a leading global manager of private market assets, acting on behalf of its clients, has acquired a logistics portfolio in Poland together with a number of other co-investors in early 2022.

 

The three-site portfolio is located in and around Warsaw and will feature approximately 150,000 sqm of modern logistics space after repositioning. The joint venture plans to modernize and develop the properties to create high-quality, efficient and sustainable logistics and warehouse space.

 

The sites are predestined to meet the needs of users from the e-commerce sector. The joint venture aims to expand the new platform by acquiring further logistics properties intended for sustainable development.

 

Other Sectors

 

Adlershof Hotel - Berlin 

 

PREF III, advised by Peakside, acquired a plot of land with approx. 

11,000 sqm from the State of Berlin in Berlin-Adlershof in 2017. A total of around 25,000 sqm of leasable space was developed there.

 

The majority of the space will be occupied by a hotel with up to 400 rooms, which will also close an infrastructural gap at the Adlershof location. In addition, around 5,000 sqm of high-quality office space will be developed, as well as 150 underground parking spaces.
