Stefan Aumann is a founding partner of Peakside Capital. He is responsible for all activities of the Peakside Group in Central and Eastern Europe and also oversees selected asset management projects in Germany. He is also a member of Peakside's Investment Committee.

Mr. Aumann has been active in the real estate industry for over 25 years. Prior to founding Peakside, he served as Director and Head of Asset Management in the Real Estate Principal Investment Division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) from 2008. Prior to that, he worked for seven years in the Real Estate Principal Investment Division (Whitehall Funds) of Goldman Sachs.

Mr. Aumann studied business administration with a focus on real estate and finance at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and graduated with a degree in business administration.

Goethe University (Frankfurt) as well as real estate economics at the European Business School (Oestrich Winkel).

Simon Lutz is a Partner | Co-head Germany at Peakside Capital and is responsible for acquisitions and investment management in Germany. He has been with the company since the Frankfurt office opened in 2013 and became a partner in 2020.

He has been responsible for a transaction and asset management volume of over €2 billion. He also leads the company's AI initiatives and their implementation and, together with his partners, shapes Peakside Capital's overall strategy.

Previously, he gained experience in private equity, venture capital, real estate, asset management, and consulting.

He holds an M.Sc. in Real Estate (Henley Business School, University of Reading), an M.Sc. in Real Estate Management (IREBS, University of Regensburg), and a B.Sc. in Business Administration (University of Regensburg).

Frank Schaefer is a partner at Peakside Capital. He joined the firm in 2020 as Managing Director and Head of Business Development. He is responsible for business and product development activities, including investor relations and capital raising. He also oversees Peakside's ESG initiatives. 

Prior to joining Peakside Capital, Mr. Schaefer was Managing Director of Tishman Speyer's Equity Capital Markets team since 2017 and responsible for building the German KVG and expanding the investment management platform in Germany. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, Mr. Schaefer spent eight years at Credit Suisse Group in various leadership roles, including Global Head of Product & Business Development and Co-Head Germany at Credit Suisse Real Estate Investment Management. Mr. Schaefer started his career at UBS Global Asset Management in the Junior Key People Program and worked for UBS for a total of more than eight years, most recently based in Zurich as Head of Institutional Sales Management Continental Europe.

Overall, Mr. Schaefer has more than 20 years of experience in international investment management in senior and client-facing roles.

Mr. Schaefer is a German citizen. He holds a law degree from the Goethe University in Frankfurt. He is a certified financial analyst (CEFA) and certified financial risk manager (FRM).

Mr. Maziukiewicz has been Managing Director of Peakside Capital Advisors in Luxembourg since 2013. He is responsible for the company's internal and external reporting, investment structures and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Maziukiewicz has over 15 years of financial experience in the real estate industry. Prior to joining Peakside, Karol was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at KSP Real Estate Investment Management. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Heitmann in Luxembourg for 7 years.

In this role, he was responsible for the consolidation and reporting of regulated special funds as well as non-regulated investment structures and individual mandates. Karol also led the tax and financial valuation of companies in large transactions and was involved in the restructuring of tax and financing structures. Prior to joining Heitmann, Karol worked for Arthur Andersen and Ernst&Young in Poland as a senior audit consultant.

Mr. Maziukiewicz holds a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from Warsaw Finance School. Karol Maziukiewicz holds Polish and Luxembourgish citizenship and works in Luxembourg.

Steven Davis, Managing Director for CEE

Steven Davis is an experienced property developer with broad market expertise spanning acquisitions, financing, planning, construction, sales, marketing and leasing. Over the course of his career, he has delivered more than 20,000 residential units, developed in excess of 400,000 sqm of commercial office space and 100,000 sqm of retail space, as well as projects within the logistics and industrial real estate sector.

His professional experience covers all major sectors of commercial real estate, including residential, office, retail, hotel and industrial assets. Steven Davis has delivered projects both through ground-up development and via the acquisition of portfolios or individual assets.

He previously served as Chief Operating Officer of a publicly listed company with approximately EUR 2.5 billion of assets under management, and also worked alongside leading institutional partners including Goldman Sachs, GE, Pirelli Real Estate and Grove Investment Fund. Throughout his career in Central and Eastern Europe, he has built and expanded development platforms across multiple markets, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Croatia and Serbia.
